How to Make French Onion Chicken Rice-a-Roni Casserole

This French Onion Chicken Rice-A-Roni Casserole is super easy to make with only a few simple ingredients. Cook Rice-a-Roni according to the package directions. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add pasta and vermicelli mix to the skillet and cook until golden brown. Add water and rice-a-roni seasoning packet. Bring contents to a near boil. Reduce heat and simmer until the liquid is absorbed and the rice is tender.

While the rice-a-roni cooks, combine french onion dip and cream of chicken soup in a large bowl. Stir in french fried onions, shredded cheese, garlic powder, and chopped chicken. Stir the cooked rice and pasta mix into the soup mixture. Season with salt and black pepper, if desired. Spread the mixture into a sprayed baking dish. Top the casserole with more french fried onions. Place pan in a preheated oven and bake.
