Curry College to present celebration of the arts
MILTON – Curry College will host a celebration of the arts featuring a student art and design exhibit; a performance by the Jean Appolon Expressions, a Haitian contemporary dance company; a Curry Theatre production of the musical “The Secret Garden”; and performances showcasing Curry College’s dance and music programs. Sister City Committee to hold anniversary party
SCITUATE – The Scituate Sister City Committee will celebrate the 10th anniversary of its partnership with Sucy-en-Brie, France, at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 30, at the Scituate Performing Arts Center, 606 Chief Justice Cushing Highway. Chef Rob to host cooking class online
QUINCY – Thomas Crane Public Library will host a brunch cooking class with Chef Rob via Zoom from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, April 30. Chef Rob will cook mascarpone strawberry preserve-stuffed French toast and blueberry scones with a sweet orange drizzle. QCAP group to participate in Walk for Hunger
QUINCY – A group from the nonprofit Quincy Community Action Programs will participate in Project Bread’s 54th Annual Walk for Hunger virtually May 1. The group of 10 will start at the organization’s food center at 18 Copeland St., and walk to Quincy Center with the goal of raising $1,500. Photo exhibit opens Sunday in Plymouth
PLYMOUTH – The Plymouth Center for the Arts’ 12th Annual Juried Photography Exhibition and Competition, called “The Fine Art of Photography,” will hold an opening reception from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, May 1, at 11 North St. Free. Choral Art Society to perform concert in Hingham
HINGHAM – The Choral Art Society of the South Shore will present a show called “What a Wonderful World!
